I am presently not signed up for Auto Auth. My Maxi Sys Elite still within it's update period with an internet connection to Autel's server still  allows the tablet to be able to scan all modules and view data without an Auto Auth subscription or using the Autel 8+12 connector to bypass the Security gateway module. I know that after the update period this capability will end.

   After the update period expires, will my Autel 8+12 cable allow me to scan and read data of all the modules on FCA vehicles, bypassing the SGM module without the internet connection to Autel's server or Auto Auth?

   Does a MaxiSys Elite still require an active update period with Autel for a purchased Auto Auth subscription  to work or only need to buy $50 annual Auto Auth subsription?
